MD, MRCP (UK), FCCP (USA)Dr. R K Mani holds the post of CEO Medical and Chairman – Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, Nayati Healthcare. He is widely regarded as a pioneer in the field of pulmonary critical care. A former president of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, he is presently the chief editor of the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine. His seminal contributions towards the development of end-of-life and palliative care in India are widely acclaimed. His areas of interests include respiratory support, extracorporeal therapies and organ support, infection control and ethics of critical care. He has published several research papers and book chapters.
He holds more than 30 years of experience in the field of medicine, pulmonology and critical care. During his career Dr Mani was associated with Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Group and other reputed names in the healthcare industry. He is an expert in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic techniques. He is also the one of the first doctors to develop sleep medicine in India.
