He is a graduate from Sambalpur University, postgraduate and postdoctoral DM course from PGI Chandigarh. He is a recipient of many Oration awards and gold medals including Rashtriya Rattan and Indian Medical association’s special award. He is a fellow of American College of Cardiology (FACC), European society of cardiology (FESC) and member of American Heart association, European society of Heart failure and European Society of Preventive cardiology.
